Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Welcome to Nepal, you’ll be escorted to your booked hotel where you will be briefed about your day to day program by your guide or tour officer receiving you at the airport

Day 02: Sightseeing Tours at Pashupatinath Temple & Swayambhu Stupa, Evening walking tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square

Early Morning breakfast and you will be escorted toward Pashupatinath Temple by our designated guide on a Private Van which is 10 minutes ride from hotel. At the sight our guide will brief you in detail about Hindu belief, importance of Pashupatinath among Hindus and major festivals celebrated on Pashupatinath and take on a tour around the temple.

Next we will head towards Swayambhu Stupa; standing on the top of the hill Swayambhunath Stupa holds the pride of Buddhist Community people. It is also renowned as the symbol of peace. Every year number of people visit Swayambhunath on the occasion of Buddha Purnima; birthday of Gautam Buddha.

At evening guide will assist you on walking tour to Kathmandu Durbar.

Day 03: Drive to Panauti Homestay

After breakfast you’ll be escorted towards Panauti, which is at a south-east side from Kathmandu and will be accompanied by host for the tour around Panauti village which is also regarded as one of the oldest city with the maximum people of Newar residing Panauti is steeped in Newari culture and tradition. Visitors will often find colorful stones, petals and other items that are laid out on the pavement to welcome everyone with great hospitality. Lunch and dinner will be placed at Panauti home stay where the grains, vegetables, rice, oil are all from either their own field or from the villager’s. The foods are fresh and hygienic and served less spicy as per the guests’ health concern. Staying in a homestay can be lifetime experience to get close to the community, involve yourself in the daily activity.

Day 04: Hike from Panauti to Sanga via Chamkharka Village. Continue Drive to Bhaktapur, sightseeing tour to Bhaktapur and continue drive to Pharping.

The starting point, Panauti, is just outside the eastern edge of the Kathmandu Valley. After a steep ascent for about half an hour, the hike mostly flattens out, and takes walkers along ridgelines with steep drops below, views of rice fields and farmland, the town of Banepa and–on clear days–unobstructed views of the Himalayas. The paths we follow are mostly just local paths that the villagers of this area have always used. The curious faces with which we were met proved that these people weren’t used to outsiders passing through.

After hike you will drive to Bhaktapur, on reaching Bhaktapur our guide will assist you for sightseeing around Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur has the best preserved palace courtyards and old city center in Nepal, and is listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO for its rich culture, temples, and wood, metal and stone artworks. Then lunch will be provided, after which we will continue drive towards Pharping which is 30 km far from Bhaktapur. Pharping is a thriving Newari town who’s ancient Buddhist pilgrimage sites have been taken over by large numbers of Tibetans. Then we will travel towards Neydo Monastery Hotel, amidst the most scenic area, there lies a Buddhist Monastery Guest-house in the most peaceful location alongside Neydo Tashi Choeling Monastery, where you’ll have dinner and accommodation for the day.

Day 05: Morning Prayer Ceremony along with Monks of Neydo Monastery and Transfer to Chitwan

Early in the morning you’ll be joining in the Morning Prayer along with the monks of Neydo Monastery, and after breakfast we will continue driving towards Chitwan (Barauli) which is about 138 km in distance. Launch will be served at Highway restaurant. After entering Chitwan you’ll be assisted by our guide for Evening cycling tour to Narayani River, we assure you once in a lifetime experience cycling around Tharu villages, lifestyle of Tharu people, fish farms and culture of Tharu people, you can also observe beautiful sunset which looks like golden ball sinking into the Narayani River. Then you’ll be accompanying cultural dance with local Tharu community people, The famous Tharu stick dances, and the crazy peacock dance are two main highlights of the show, you can expect to be invited to join in the dancing, as the evening reaches its climax.

Day 06: Village Walking and Jeep Safari

After breakfast at Barauli homestay community you’ll transferred to Chitwan National park for Jeep Safari where our guide will assist you. During the trip, the guide will hang at the back of the vehicle to spot animals. He will also give information about the environment and the wildlife and you will sit in the back of an open jeep to see the animals. The tour will last for 3-4 hours; you can explore a variety of habitats, and get a close look at rhinos, mugger crocodiles, gharial crocodiles, wild boar and deer. Then you’ll go for lunch at the homestay and rest of the day you’ll free time in which you can explore around Barauli.

Day 07: Drive to Palpa / Tansen. Visiting Lumbini Garden & Palpa Town

You’ll have breakfast in the morning then you’ll departure from Barauli, Chitwan to Palpa/Tansen. One the way to Palpa you’ll take a stopover at Lumbini to visit Lumbini garden after which you’ll continue travelling to Palpa, on the way lunch will be served at Highway restaurant. Maximum 4-5 hours will take for you to reach Chitwan to Palpa. On reaching Palpa you’ll be visiting Palpa town with your host. Tansen is a place which you can visit anytime of the year, from the panoramic view of mountains to the plan Terai region you’ll be able to enjoy the scenic beauty. Tansen’s main attractions are its Newari culture, medieval feel. From the style of houses to the street of Palpa you’ll find it warm and welcoming. You’ll be staying at Palpa Community Homestay where you can enjoy the authentic taste of local food.

Day 08: Continue Drive to Pokhara

You’ll be having your breakfast at Palpa Community Homestay and continue travelling to Pokhara. It will be the drive of 5 to 6 hrs. Pokhara is one of the highest tourist receiving places of the country. After reaching Pokhara you will be taken on a walking tour to lakeside. Phewa Lake is the largest lake in Pokhara valley and the second largest lake in Nepal. The lake holds a pagoda style temple, the Barahi Temple being the most important religious monuments in resort town Pokhara.

Day 09: Sarangkot & World Peace Pagoda Hiking

Before sunrise you’ll be hiking towards Sarangkot, from hotel you’ll be transported to beginning point of Sarangkot along with our guide from which you’ll start hiking towards top of Sarangkot from where you can view the beautiful sunrise, Annapurna Range and the whole Pokhara. It’ll be 3 hour uphill hike to reach Sarangkot and 2 hour downhill to come back to the starting. We’ll drive back to our hotel for breakfast after which we’ll continue to hike towards World Peace Pagoda from Phewa Lake and hike uphill for 1 and half hour to reach the top. Your lunch and dinner will be served at Tourist Standard Restaurant. After lunch you’ll have free day and can invest your time in exploring and visiting places around Pokhara.

Day 10: Flight to Kathmandu & Transfer to Patan Community Homestay

After breakfast you’ll take departure from Pokhara to Kathmandu by flight. You’ll be received by our representative and further escort you to Patan Community homestay on a Private Van.  Host will be ready to welcome you before you reach and you’ll have lunch before wandering around Patan with your host. Patan is famous for its handicrafts, art and artifacts, rich in newari culture and tradition, and famous for Newari cuisines. Host will be providing you briefing on reaching the destinations. You can also participate in various activities in the community homestay to experience the local lifestyle and enjoy the time being. Your dinner and accommodation will be at the Patan Homestay and take rest for the day.

Neydo Monastery is an ideal place for learning about Buddhism, taking a yoga course or follow day to day of the monastics. There are about 200 monks living in the adjacent monastery and guests are welcome to join them for meals and discussion.
