Day 1              Hobart

Day 2              Freycinet       

Accompanied by a local expert guide, take the morning to discover the exciting history of this colonial city. Cruise by private boat along the Derwent River to the spectacular MONA (Museum of Old and New Art) which is a gallery experience like no other. A sumptuous lunch will be served at the Morilla Winery and soon after a private flight to the Freycinet Peninsular.

Day 3             Freycinet       

Don a pair of waders and visit a  working  oyster farm to taste the oysters freshly served with a glass   of champagne. In the afternoon, learn about the peninsula’s rich history and acquaint yourself  with the famous Wine Glass Bay lookout with your private informative guide.

Day 4              Freycinet       

A trip to the rugged  Schouten  Island  awaits with its abundance of wildlife, white sand and complete solitude. Stop for a gourmet picnic on the top of the Granite Boulders. Look for dolphins, seals and plenty of soaring sea birds. This evening meet the Saffire’s culinary master and enjoy an intimate session learning about the local produce before dinner in your suite.

Day 5              Freycinet       

A helicopter flight over the rustic beauty of the land and sea to Barnbougle Dunes for a round of golf set in the wild and dramatic landscape.

Day 6              Kangaroo Island      

Depart Tasmania and continue south west to Kangaroo Island off the mainland of South Australia. Experience diverse wildlife and nature seeing wild kangaroos, koalas and many bird species. Tonight’s accommodation floats atop a secluded cliff on a rugged stretch of coast. The lodge commands peerless views of the wild southern ocean. Enjoy a scenic guided walk across the limestone cliffs, experience and learn about the local flora and fauna. This is a photographer’s dream.

The Remarkable Rocks – Kangaroo Island

Day 7              Kangaroo Island

Depart by private 4WD to Seal Bay where your expert guide will take you to the beach for a fascinating walk amongst the local sea lions. Continue to the island’s largest park where there will be plenty of wildlife to view enroute. Experience a true Aussie BBQ, where your guide becomes the chef, all complemented with local island wines, served in the bush. After lunch we go searching for Koalas which are easily spotted in the Blue Gum trees.

Discover the region with a local icon  as  he  takes you to his favourite destinations. Enjoy a stop at a waterfall that houses freshwater marrons and mussels. A gourmet lunch is served in the barrel room of the Fraser Gallop Estate where you will meet and talk with the winemaker. The afternoon is action packed on a 4WD adventure into the bush to discover the Willyabrup Cliffs. Be rewarded with sensational views high above the oceans.

Day 11                        Margaret River        

A chance for a private meeting with the local indigenous people and journey with them to their caves to be mesmerised by a live didgeridoo performance. Discover the traditional fire lighting, tool making. and take in the sunset with the indigenous locals.

We make our way into the multicultural city of Perth, the capital of Western Australia. There is time to shop in the Design District. Dinner on the historic wharf at Cicerellos where an abundance of seafood is on offer- a local institution.
