The Republic of Albania is a small, mountainous country in the Balkan peninsula in south-east Europe. It’s coastline is both on the Adriatic and Ionian Seas. It has borders with Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia and Greece.

Day 1

Meet and Greet at Tirana Airport. Transfer to your hotel.

In the afternoon travel 9 miles (14 kilometres) northeast of Tirana to Lake Bovilla. The lake provides most of the drinking water for Tirana. Here you can enjoy an adventurous Off -Road ride in a 4 x 4 vehicle.

Day 2

After breakfast at the hotel we leave Tirana and travel to the town of Lezha. Here you visit Mrizi i Zanave, a well-known restaurant located in the midst of agricultural area, where you’ll be tasting different local food and wine. From here you’ll head towards Kruja. On the way you will stop to visit a family house, where you can meet with the locals and try that traditional Albanian spirit Raki with small meze.

After arriving into Kruja you’ll walk up to visit Kruja Castle and old Baazar. Afterwards you’ll drive back to Tirana.

Day 3

After breakfast it’s off to Kepi i Rodoni (The Cape of Rodon or Cape of Skanderbeg) which is a rocky cape on the Adriatic coast north of Durrës.

Here you will be able to go sea kayaking in the Adriatic Sea. Afterwards you drive to Lalzi Bay, a seaside resort which, while on the Adriatic Sea is also within the Mediterranean Sea. Then, afterwards you’ll visit the Duka Winery and Vineyard to sample their wines and enjoy some finger food. You then return to Tirana.

Day 4

After breakfast we check out of our hotel and head to Durres where we’ll enjoy some horse riding before travelling to Tirana Airport for our return flight.
